| | Gary Wilkison was born and raised in Hawarden.
He attended Hawarden schools and served in the
USAF spending 3 years in Europe. After his
tour of service, he attended South Dakota
State University. He started in the Insurance
business in Hawarden, in 1963 and joined the
Gearhart Agency in 1969. Gary and his wife,
Jeannine, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
Gary was a charter member of the Hawarden
Jaycees, past president of the Hawarden
Chamber of Commerce, past president of the
local ROTARY club, and served many years
in the Hawarden Economic Development
Corporation, several times as president. |
